More than 55.000 people from all over the world visited www.kyllingen.com to sign the online petition, showing their support for the Danish cyclist Michael Rasmussen. 

It is a fantastic support, as people from Denmark and abroad have shown. I am very glad that I have been able to give that many people a framework to be able to give their support. I hope that Michael Rasmussen could feel and use the support in his darkest hours, says the author of the online petition, Kasper Michael de Thurah. 

He has not even had the opportunity to meet Michael Rasmussen, he’s just glad that Michael gets the support he deserves. 

The most important thing for me is, that he is aware of the website, and knows that he is the real winner in our eyes, says Kasper Michael de Thurah. 

At the beginning it was almost exclusively Danes, who visited the website, but very quickly, the word got spread and people from all over the world signed their support.

Obviously, it helps knowing that 50.000 have made the effort to visit a website and signing support to me. That tells me that there are quite a lot of people in the world who sympathize with me. (Quote: Michael Rasmussen)
